I need some energy!

Today was a rainy day, worked till 3:15, went to Pals and got a sauceburger w/cheese, fries and tea. Me and Amber went to Wal-Mart, I talked to my cousin Debbie who works in the photo lab. I had to get a Color ink cartridge for my printer. I got a new haircut yesterday and blonded, I like it but my color may be to light. Spending to much time on the computer tonight so I didnt get anything done. Burned a cd of Beach pictures for Janet and Shelly. Need to go get ready for bed.

Most wonderful time of the year!

Why is that? The Sharpie 500 is over with and all the campers are leaving! I had to work 6 days last week. over 50 hours, it wasnt too bad but I got absolutely nothing done at home so I will be playing catch up all week, laundry keeps pileing up and piles of mail to go through. This week is our first Varsity Football game, two more weeks till jv starts. My garage door opener quit working last week I have a leak in the pipes water is leaking in the garage. I don't like all the extra expenses involved with home repairs. Not in my budget at all.

I havent posted on here since June. We had a pretty good summer, went to the beach in June, I will be adding some new photos. Hunter got a job a Chick fila and worked up until this past Sat., he is just too busy to work, go to school, study and do band. This is his senior Amber is a sophmore she is taking drivers ed, web page design, geometry and US history this semester.

Hunter went to Friday nights race, I got him tickets for $25.00 each from one of my campers. Amber went to the Sat. night race with Preston, she didnt get home until 2:00. We both took a nap today.

I am reading New moon by Stephenie Meyer, the second book in the Twilight series. I went to have a eye exam last month and it turns out i need glasses for reading and the computer.

I am hoping to be posting to my blog more often.

Busy time

Well its been awhile since I updated on this blog. I have been really busy lately, Amber just got back from cheer camp at ASU, she had an allergic reation to pecans while there and they had to give her benadryll, that said she acted real funny while on the medicine. She is glad to get home and sleep in her own bed. Not been doing much bargain shopping lately, trying to save money to go to the beach with. We are leaving on Saturday, still have to pack.

Whats been going on...........

Well this school year is winding down. Hunter had Class night on Thursday, they do a candle lighting ceremony where a senior lights a juniors candle and then they take their place in the bleachers and then they introduce the Class of 2009 and you realize that your baby boy is going to be a senior and graduate next year! I got a little teary eyed. Today we had Kloey Kennedy, and Braden's party at Massengill park on the lake, its a pretty place to have a get together. Hunter and Amber got to fish but they didnt catch anything.

I have got to get back into scrapbooking I am so far behind. Since we had our water leak in April I dont have my light fixture back up and its kinda depressing to be down there and look at it. Lois is having a yard sale this week so I need to get some things ready for that.

Havent been to CVS this week wasnt anything I need or any great bargains to be had. I got my stimulus check, Im gonna pay for Hunter's band camp and some of Amber's cheerleading expenses with it and I am wanting to buy a Wii if I can find one. I ordered the Wii fit to start exercising with. I only went walking one night this week, hope to do it more next week.

Wednesday's news

Worked today, pretty busy stayed till 3:00. Fixed a pizza for supper and salad. I went walking around 6:00. Hunter went to interview at Marble Slab and he got a 2nd interview with Chick fila. Hopefully he will get a job before school is out and every teenager is looking for a job! Well im gonna go to bed.

Manic Monday

Well one good thing about today, I got to sleep in - didnt wake up until 9:45. Got ready and went to Target and CVS. Amber had cheer practice tonight and Debra took her and I picked them up. Been watching my TLC shows and The bachelor. Took a ambien so I hope I can fall asleep good tonight.

Friday's happenings

Well this has been a rough week, havent felt good most of the week. Headache all day yesterday, feeling better today. I went shopping this morning in Kingsport, went to Kohls, Hobby Lobby , Lowes and Wal-mart. Amber went to Kelly's tonight, Hunter went to mamaw's, I have been working on stuff downstairs and been on the computer. Added a playlist to my blog. I love the song by Trace Adkins "your gonna miss this". Got a new cricut cartridge today, played with it a little bit. Hunter has his band banquet tomorrow at BMS.

Blogging at work today....

Amber had cheer practice for 2 hrs. last night in Johnson City so last night flew by. I have been trying to get downstairs back in order from our water leak that happened on April fools day. I did vaccum and move some stuff back into my scrapbook area. I am almost afraid to have my scrapbook/photo area there since I know if the fridge leaks again I will have the same problem, but for now that is the way it is. Tonight we have a reception at Church for Scott and Amanda, they got married last Friday.

CVS ing

Yesterday I went to CVS and I got two bottles of benefiber (6.99 each) a 4 pk doubleroll cottonelle (3.99) and pledge dusting spray (2.99). I used two 2.00 coupons on the benefiber and 1.50 on the pledge, .25 on the tissue and I had two $4.00 off of $20.00 and $6.00 ECB so my grand total was $1.85 out of pocket. Total before coupons was $20.96. Not to shabby!

Beautiful Day!

We have had two beautiful days in a row, it was in the 70's today. I went walking this evening, walked 1 1/2 miles and did weight machine. Hunter had a interview with Chick fila today, the first interview he has ever had. They should let him know something by the first of the week. Amber is doing a talent show at the mall on Sunday, she still doesnt know what she is singing.

Went to CVS after work spent $16.50 and got 17.00 back. I like those kinda deals! Found a neat site called mommysavesbig.com it has links to alot of coupons and codes for shopping. Always looking for a bargain!

Me and Amber stopped at CVS on the way home she wanted a make up brush and I had some coupons, So we got the brushes and I got a set of brushes and some eyelash curler refills, a pack of Starburst; by the time they took off my $4.00 off a $20.00 purchase plus my other ECB's I only owed .35 and a coupon for $5.00 off next purchase

Today flew by!

Today went by so fast and now its time to go to bed! Me and Amber went to Brian's sisters store and she bought a pair of sunglasses and I got a necklace and earrings. I also bought a usb adapter to try and transfer my home movies to computer then to dvd but I dont think its gonna work with Windows Vista. I spent all night trying to get it to work with no luck. Amber gets her braces off Monday, she is really looking forward to that day!

Today my Doctor's office called and said my bloodwork was good except I have anemia and they want me to start taking iron daily. Maybe that explains why i am always tired and run down. Went walking today, walked one mile while Amber was tanning. I actually walked 3 days this week and did the weight machine twice so far. I spent all evening trying to do taxes for my kids and I have given up, I am usually pretty good and can figure out the tax forms but this year we have some capital gains and stuff from the sale of mutual funds that Im afraid I will do something wrong. So I guess I will go see H & R block tomorrow.

News from my Dr.

She thinks i have uterine fibroid which are the cause of heavy periods. She said my uterus is the size of woman;s who was three mos, pregnant. I have to go have a ultra sound and have a mamogram (this will be my first) Also she is going to check my thyroid too because I have been having heart palpitation and they can be caused by your thyroid. I did get a prescription of ambien, I just took one so i m going to get off of here and go to sleep If anyone has any experiece with any of these medical conditions send me a post and let me know

Doctor tomorrow!

Tomorrow I go to the Doctor, a new doctor to me, well any doctor is new to me. I havent really been to the Dr. in 15 years except for when I have had sinus infections or strep. Hopefully there won't be too much wrong with me. I really need some Ambien to help me sleep, a friend gave me some to try and I slept so good the nights I took it.

My CVS bargains

My friends on the site Here comes the stork have turned me on to CVS shopping. Today I got appr. 35.00 for 7.00 and I earned $21.00 back in ECB money. I also sold a couple of things on ebay today. I need to get some more things listed to make some room in my house. I will add more details on my cvs deals tomorrow.
